Webs API Documentation

Overview

Webs.com has developed a REST (representational state transfer) programming interface, which empowers partners to develop Web applications that enable end users to access their Webs.com web sites directly from partner sites and widgets. Partners will embed in their sites and widgets the code necessary to interact with Webs based upon this programming interface.

There are many REST resources available on the World Wide Web and the reader is encouraged to refer to those resources for more information. Briefly, REST is simply a software architectural style that makes use of URIs to identify resources. HTTP GET and POST are used to retrieve information about these resources and to create/update these resources.
